“Akhuratha Sankasthi Chaturthi” holds an importance in Hindu Religion. This day is considered an auspicious day to worship Lord Ganesha. Devotees offer prayers to Lord Ganesha and they observe fast on this day. Akhuratha Sankashti Chaturthi is being observed on Chaturthi Tithi of Krishna Paksha in the month of Pausha i.e., December 30, 2023 this year. Akhuratha Maha Ganpati is associated with Durga Peetha. Lord Ganesha is worshipped on this auspicious day. Lord Ganesha is known for removing obstacles from the life of devotees. He is also known as Mangal Murti, the God of good fortune. Those, who are childless must worship Lord Ganesha on this day to get the desired wish fulfillment. “May Lord Ganesha’s divine presence fill your life with peace, love, and happiness.” This festival is mostly celebrated in Maharashtra state. However, the Ganesh chaturthi is the Main festival of Lord Ganesh which is observed throughout the country.
